Bryant Woods was married to Grizzell. He retired from the U. S. Army as a master sargent after 20 years of proud service to his country. He moved with his family to Prichard, Alabama where he opened an dairy queen/ice cream shop called “Kozzy Corner” and became on of the few black-owned businesses in the area. His wife, Grizzell was a retired teacher. She taught for the Mobile County School for many years. From this union came two children, Darrylynn Morrisette and Larry Woods who preceded him in death.
